Taqi Usmani asserts that there is a third group which follows the methodology of the Salaf,
and this is the view adopted by Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim:
Affirming Haqeeqi Real fingers for Allah ﷻ while holding that the modality (kayfiyyah) is unknown
@Kb3463 I'll say it again, take the sufiest, most anti-wahabi deo and ask him to condemn the 90% of his scholars who hold wahabi beliefs and they won't be able to. They'll make it as if blasphemy & declaring muslims to be Polytheists over Istighāthah is a valid ikhtilaf within ASWJ

Deobandis and their illicit love for Ibn Abdul Wahab Najdi:
Manzur Nomani, an authority for deos, wrote a book where he explains the position of the Ulema of Deoband regarding MIAW and defends him.
Translated to Arabic
'دعايات مكثفة ضد شيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب'

The author of the text was shocked by the murder of the Caliph & invokes God's wrath on the assassins
He also uses the slightly modified phrase from Qur'ān 33:61;
"قُتِّلُوا تَقْتِیلًا"
to show his intense disapproval of the general state of affairs
location;Taymāʾ, SaudiArabia
An inscription from the time of the companions mentions the Murder of the 3rd Khalīfah of Islam ;
"I am Qays, the scribe of Abū Kutayr,
May the Curse of Allah be upon those who murdered ʿUthmān bin ʿAffān and [those who] have led to his killing without mercy"

Allamah Fazle Rasūl Badāyūnī,
who was a Descendant of Sayyiduna 'Uthmān e ghanī & Hazrat 'Abdullah bin 'Abbās,
lived at a time when Wahabism was on the rise in Hind.
Regarding this, he narrates an incident which prompted him to dedicate his life to refuting this deviant sect;
About 500 years before Imam Ahmad Rida Khan & even before Allamah Fazle Haq,
One of the early Theologians of Hind, Qādī Shihābuddīn DawlatĀbādī (d849) negates the Mutazili-Deobandi Aqīdah of Imkān al Kidhb & establishes the sunni creed that Allah ﷻ is free from lying & defects
Sayyiduna Amīr Mu'āwiyah says;
"Poetry is the highest form of literature,
"Fine poetry opens the mind, refines articulation, frees the tongue & guides toward chivalry & courage"
A woman's nostalgia for her homeland
A man from Tihāmah married a woman from Najd
When he brought her to his dwelling place, she asked;
"What has become of the wind that used to blow upon us from Najd, the one called al-Ṣabā*¹?
Why do I not see it here?"
He replied ;
Imam Al Razi writes ;
"If the Prophet ﷺ desires a thing, it is Harām upon the Ummah to oppose it,
If a person is in need of sustenance, it is not wājib upon him to give it to his father,
but it is wājib upon him to direct it towards the Prophet ﷺ
@maaturidy just repent from Deobandism bruv
You know very well that it's fake and contradictory. you don't even have to become a barelwi, just stop wasting your life & Iman away defending the indefensible
Deos write regarding Shaykh Alawi;
"Alawi is a greater heretical innovator than even ARK"*¹
The "barelwi" Ālim you quoted is someone who Shaykh Asrar just recently refuted for his Jahmi beliefs
Our official position is that tabdī' is not made over this issue

Muḥammad bin ʿAlawī al-Mālikī is a kafir according to barelwīs
Last post on barelwis, their deficiencies in intellect has become further apparent by their pathetic attempts at gish gallop ignoring my answers.
Anyways I’ll be presenting a few quotes of Muhammad bin Alawi on hazir wa nazir and his state according to barelwīs
ʾImām Muḥammad bin ʿAlawī al-Mālikī (رحمه الله) writes,
The true Barzakhic life of the Prophets, particularly of our Prophet ﷺ, is so exalted and complete that no ignorant or foolish person should imagine that it means they live as we do: eating and drinking out of need, relieving themselves, leaving their graves to attend assemblies of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) or Quranic gatherings, participating in the joys and sorrows, celebrations, and seasons of the community then returning to their graves under the earth in a narrow pit with soil above them. There is not the slightest honour or virtue in this; rather, it is the pure essence of ihānah¹, which no person would accept for a servant or follower, let alone for the best of creation and the noblest of Allah’s servants—far be it, absolutely far be it.*
╾ Mafāhīm Yajibu ʾan Tuṣaḥḥaḥ (p. 391) ╼
This indicates that he views the belief held by al-Barēlwiyyah that the Prophet ﷺ attends a celebration and as such as a form of humiliation and insult to our Blessed Messenger ﷺ.
Insulting the Prophet ﷺ is kufr and doubting that it is kufr is also kufr, so ʾImām Muḥammad bin ʿAlawī al-Mālikī (رحمه الله) calling it the pure essence of ihānah is synonymous with him calling it kufr.
¹ ihānah: to despise; to humble, humiliate, abase, demean, scorn, disdain, slight (insult (someone) by treating or speaking of them without proper respect or attention.), treat with contempt or disdain; to insult, affront (a remark or action intended to insult or offend someone.), contumely (insolent or insulting language or treatment.), abuse. This is emphasised by him saying ʿayn because ʿayn means that it is the exact essence of ihānah, pure ihānah, and this closes all the doors to taʾwīl. (See: Hans Wehr (p. 1218-1219))
ʾImām Muḥammad bin ʿAlawī al-Mālikī (رحمه الله) writes,
As for standing in the Mawlid of the Prophet ﷺ at the mention of his birth and his coming into this world, some people assume a false assumption that has no basis among the scholars—as far as I know—but rather it is found among the most ignorant of those who attend the Mawlid and stand with those who stand.
That incorrect assumption is that people stand believing that the Prophet ﷺ himself enters the gathering at that moment with his noble body. This misunderstanding is further worsened by some of them who think that the incense and perfume are for him, and that the water placed in the middle of the gathering is for him to drink from.
All of these assumptions would not occur to the mind of any sane Muslim. We declare ourselves innocent before Allah of all of that, because it involves boldness against the station of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and attributing to his noble body what only a heretic and fabricator would believe. Matters of the barzakh are known only to Allah, Glorified and Exalted be He.
╾ ḥawla al-iḥtifāl bi-dhikrá al-mawlid al-nabawī al-sharīf (p. 40) ╼
Notice the strong use of language used by shaykh Muḥammad bin ʿAlawī al-Mālikī that whom ever holds to such a belief is a “heretic and fabricator” and also note that his rejection of qiyam according to the barelwi brothers is blasphemy against the prophet ﷺ.
Deniers have no īmān
Barelvī cleric Umar ichrawī writes,
Yes, those who deny the Prophet ﷺ being ḥāḍir wa nāẓir—the reason for this can only be that they are devoid of faith. Therefore, they do not have the companionship of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, because they have turned away from the remembrance of Allah.
╾ Miqyaase hanafiyyat (p. 278) ╼
According to this Muhammad bin Alawi Al maliki is devoid of faith !!
@AlShurahbeel انا لله و انا اليه راجعون
May Allah be pleased with him
Uwaïs seems to be a very common name in somalia, I barely see Arabs with this name but desis use it a lot
That's why some scholars used harsh wordings regarding this issue. It has simply become synonymous with sunnism.
Just like the issue of considering the parents of Rasūlallah ﷺ to be Disbelievers in our time
In the subcontinent however, all those who are sunnis also believe in this creed
Only Wahabis & deos deny it and declare those who adhere to this doctrine to be Polytheists
So it is definitely a strong sign of deviance in the subcon if someone denies the aqīdah of hazir nazir
