@Sammy_Wesson_ “You’re not like most hu-people...are you Sam?” She said curiously, seeing some potential in this guy. Potential for what, she wasn’t quite sure yet.
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Two years and no promotion? Bit odd. Have you ever thought about moving up in the company?” She asked curiously, wondering if she could possibly help with that.
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Two years? Wow. That’s impressive.” She said as she looked at the office building. Last time she was in one was when she briefly possessed a secretary.
@Sammy_Wesson_ She followed him, watching the way he walked, studying him almost. He wasn’t like other humans. He walked with an air of power, but was masked by shyness and insecurity. It was fascinating to her. “How long have you worked at this place?”
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Yeah. If a demon is smart, then they will sort of study who they have possessed and get their mannerisms down to where no one suspects anything.”
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Now leaving the body is different. Big cloud of black smoke would exit the human’s...person’s mouth. Same with possessing. But once possessed, you would never really know unless you pay close attention to behavior.”
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Demons?” She smiled some. “I can tell you a lot about them. They’re sneaky. They’re smart, usually. And they can be anyone. Your work buddy could be possessed and you’d never know it.”
@Sammy_Wesson_ She let out a small sigh of relief. “Yeah. Ghosts, demons, monsters. Studied them all.” She said, hoping her fib wouldn’t go further than was needed.
@Sammy_Wesson_ “What? Oh...um...well...I studied the horror genre in college?” That was a believable statement right? Lots of people studied that. Ruby just hoped this guy bought it.
@Sammy_Wesson_ “Being stuck in one place for a long time can make you pretty grumpy...” She said, silently reflecting when she was trapped in hell. It was part of why she was still bitter.
