Fresh Food Company are delighted to announce that Les Turriff Dundee has joined the Fresh Food Company Family.

From a small family business established in 1977 in Montrose, Les Turriff Ltd has grown into one of the best known names for fresh produce in the East of Scotland.

Today headed by Andrew Turriff the company still has the same values as his father Les. The business is now based in a modern industrial area of Dundee with great transport links to the east of Scotland.

The business moved more into wholesale in the late 1980’s and acquired some local businesses through the 1990’s. WA Graham Arbroath, H William Vials Alyth and John Smith & Co Dundee.

After 3 years as an area manager he took over premises in Murray Street Montrose and then opened a second shop in Market Street Brechin in 1983.

Les was a manager for Fine Fare supermarkets gaining recognition for selling as much fresh fruit and veg in High Street locations compared to their larger branches.
