It was an honour to be at @UKHouseofLords last week to listen to speeches from children. They were finalists in our @First_News “Speech Your Mind” competition, hosted by my friend @LordMcConnell. It’s important to listen to the voices of children because their ideas matter. They see the world in ways that adults sometimes miss. And they are not inhibited by political bias nor any other agenda. All their speeches - on war, nature loss, poverty, racism, acceptance, SEND and more - were from the heart and sincere. Thank you to the MPs who attended, to Lord Jack, to fellow judges Sky Kids’ Ian France @wwf_uk Lisa Lee and @ChildrensComm @Rachel_deSouza.
