Today Common Threads honored Kathy Briano, Tina Carreiro, Giovanna DePaoli, Marcia Shafer and Margaret Mims. In 2016, we had one of our own Dr. Sandra Witte as a recipient. This event was presented by California Ag Leadership Foundation, Jordan College and the Ag One Foundation.
Inside the wonderful Jordan Agricultural Research Center there is a Sensory Lab where students/ faculty prepare the food and/or drinks. Next, they put it through the little windows in each booth for participants to sample. Finally they use iPads to record results!

Did you know that cows wear earrings too? Their earrings are just called eartags! Similar to our birth certificates, a cows number represents their date of birth, and parents infomation. We keep accurate records of our cows to ensure they always remain healthy and happy!
