Researching Desert Hearts for a uni project led me to see how ground-breaking the film was in 1986 and still is today. Due to recent events in television, I will mainly point at the fact that the gay characters don’t get killed off as soon as they’re romantically together. 1/

Watching Killing Eve from the beginning again. Eve‘s first moments are screaming bloody murder about arms that are asleep (scaring her husband) and calling a murder method “cool.” Eve was always Eve.
