This is exactly how misleading questions produce misleading answers.

Asking young people, "Who do you support: Hamas or Israel?" falsely frames Hamas as the representative of the Palestinian people. It erases the millions of Palestinians who reject Hamas and seek freedom, statehood, and peace.

The real question should be: Israel or Palestine? Not Hamas or Israel.

What is especially shocking is that, among respondents aged 18–24, a majority chose Hamas. That should alarm anyone who cares about Palestinians, Israelis, or the future of the region.

The Hamas narrative is winning over the Palestinian narrative. Instead of seeing Palestinians as a people with legitimate national aspirations, too many now equate Palestine with Hamas—a terrorist movement that has brought immense suffering to Palestinians themselves.

That is a tragedy for the Palestinian cause.

On October 19, 2023, the UN officially accused Israel of "genocidal intent."

The IDF hadn't even started its ground operation yet. Not a single soldier was in Gaza.

Pendant deux ans et demi, j'ai vu se construire un récit qu'il était presque interdit de questionner : "Israël tue les journalistes." Aujourd'hui, le CPJ retire huit noms de sa liste - c'étaient des combattants du Hamas ou du Jihad islamique, pas des reporters.
Et ce n'est probablement que la partie visible : certains travaux OSINT évoquent plus d'une centaine de cas suspects.
Dans mon entretien pour @atlantico_fr , j'explique pourquoi ce n'est pas une simple erreur de base de données, mais l'effondrement d'un système entier. Un système où la "double source indépendante" n'a souvent été qu'une fiction, où poser des questions de méthode suffisait à se voir accusé de salir la liberté de la presse.
Le cas le plus glaçant que j'évoque : un caméraman d'Al Jazeera présenté comme victime civile, célébré ailleurs comme "moudjahid" par une mosquée de Gaza.
Ma question : combien de médias, d'ONG et de responsables politiques qui ont relayé ces chiffres sans prudence accepteront de le reconnaître - avec la même force qu'ils ont mis à accuser ? »

If Israel hires Palestinians, it's apartheid and exploitation. If it stops after Palestinian workers fed Hamas intelligence used to massacre hundreds of Israelis, that too is condemned.

This video is one of the saddest videos I've seen this week.

Scott Wiener has all but completely changed his view on Israel, from being critical of some policies but still advocating for peace, he moved all the way to the extreme.

He condemned Israel and called the war a genocide, as plenty of other Democrats do. His opinions on Israel now are really no different from Graham Platner's.

But nothing a Jew does is enough for them.
