The gates are open at Harris Park, Fulwood, Preston until 3:30pm today for anyone wishing to pay their respects at the war memorial.

Most of my Saturday afternoons in the summer were spent here as a child. Watching my Dad play cricket for Dutton Forshaws/Harris Park. Would be so sad to see it redeveloped, as its a fantastic pitch, set in lovely surroundings.
