@WembleyMatters I've informed the council of misconnections their contractors made in council properties and they don't care. Builders, council, homeowners do what they want and nobody does anything.

There was a scheme that celebrates the Queen's Jubilee year that @Kaulofthewilduk was heading up, to provide 70 boxes to schools. It's a bit late now to be putting up boxes. I prefer to get them in place early in the winter as many birds scout out sites well before nesting.
