Broad-based support is built through sustained engagement, inclusion and policies that resonate across different segments of society.
Muslim women across Ekiti State, under the umbrella of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN), have pledged to mobilise massively for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s @biodunaoyebanji re-election, citing his inclusive style of governance and commitment to religious harmony.
During an engagement at the Government House in Ado Ekiti, the women commended the Governor for creating opportunities for Muslims in government and fostering peaceful coexistence across the state. They described his administration as one that has promoted participation and strengthened confidence among Muslim communities.
Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation for the support and urged residents to remain peaceful, united and law-abiding before, during and after the election, stressing that the interest of Ekiti State should always come above political differences.
120 more hours, 7200 minutes, and 432,000 seconds until Ekiti unites with one voice to re-elect @biodunaoyebanji for four more years of progress and consolidated gains!
Born of Our Soil. Formed by Our Values.
We are exactly one week away from election day. In exactly 7 days, the choice you make will not just be about politics; it will be a true reflection of who we are as a people and the kind of character we want leading our state forward.
I am a son of the Ekiti soil. I was born here, raised here, and educated right here in our land of honor. My deep-rooted understanding of our communities does not come from a distance; it comes from a lifetime of living alongside you, sharing your experiences, and breathing the same air. I have always strived to embody the core essence of an Omoluabi: to be exceptionally humble, unyieldingly hardworking, and deeply resilient in the face of challenges.
Because I am one of you, this work is deeply personal to me. My commitment to humility ensures that I will always listen to your voice, from our market women to our youth. My dedication to hard work is visible in the ground-breaking milestones we have delivered together, and my resilience keeps me fighting every single day to protect our peace, our schools, and our future.
Seven days from today, let us stand together to defend the values we hold dear. I ask for your trust to keep a dedicated, homegrown brother at the helm of affairs to sustain our progress. Let us keep moving Ekiti forward.

On Saturday, I attended the meeting of leaders and stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ekiti State Chapter, held at the residence of the first Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, in Iyin Ekiti.
The meeting which was in furtherance of our shared commitment and collective task to win next Saturday's Governorship Re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, was fruitful as leaders and followers pledged to intensify their grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election day.
In my remarks as Chairman of the State Campaign Council, I thanked the leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in me to coordinate the campaign since its commencement few weeks ago.
I equally urged all party faithful not to approach the election with fear but with confidence, giving the reassurance that Governor Biodun Oyebanji enjoys widespread acceptance across the state.
I further encouraged them to guard against taking anything for granted in the next few days to the election and charged them to reach out to voters in their respective domains to secure a landslide victory for our candidate. #VoteBAO #MOB2027 #VotePBAT2027
We laid the foundation of the EKIRS tax office in Okemesi as part of our promise to improve service delivery to Ekiti people. I thank the Owa Oye of Okemesi for his warm welcome and support always.

Ekiti 2026: Assessing Governor Oyebanji’s Performance Ahead 2nd Term Bid - Interview with Ekiti State Commissioner for finance, Akin Oyebode.
As we approach the polls in the next 7 days, another batch of retirees have received 2 billion naira cheques.
Since the inception of the BAO administration, 84 billion naira has been paid as gratuities and pensions. There is currently no pension arrears 👏🏾
Today, our vision of transforming Ekiti from the fountain of knowledge into Nigeria’s ultimate capital of wealth and innovation took a historic, record-breaking leap forward.
Alongside Vice President Kashim Shettima, who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we officially turned the sod for the groundbreaking Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ) at Ago Araromi, Ado-Ekiti.
This masterpiece is an economic outlier, backed by 80 million dollars in financial capital secured through the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Federal Government, designed to generate up to 100,000 modern jobs upon full completion.
This is not just a real estate project; it is a deliberate masterplan to position Ekiti as a global digital powerhouse. Our core ambition is clear: we are unlocking a 1 billion dollar annual foreign exchange potential by building an ecosystem that supports 40,000 remote knowledge workers right here in Ekiti.
We did not just start building today; we built the foundation over years of aggressive, strategic preparation:
World-Class Infrastructure:
We have reserved 1,700 hectares of land situated close to four major universities and a polytechnic, complete with a dedicated Independent Power Plant (IPP).
Hyper-Connectivity:
We slashed Right of Way tariffs, resulting in over 1,000km of high-speed fibre broadband laid by MTN and IHS across all 16 LGAs to power a true digital economy.
Talent Pipelines:
We are actively leveraging Ekiti's 15,000 annual graduates, boosting their global readiness through tech partnerships with industry giants like Microsoft and TechCabal.
Global Status:
Our model is so unique that Ekiti was selected by the UK's Knowledge Transfer Network as one of only three African locations recognized for place-based innovation.
From hosting global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hubs to launching advanced startup incubators, the EKZ will serve as Africa's premier technology ecosystem. We are translating our state's intellectual heritage into raw economic power.
On June 20, let us vote to defend and sustain this grand vision.

As the elders wisely say, Ìka mẹ́wàá kò dọ́gba, meaning ten fingers are never equal.
In the landscape of leadership, Ekiti has clearly seen the one who stands out. We have experienced a leader who represents the absolute standard of excellence, performance, and decency.
We are officially 10 days away from June 20. This countdown is about protecting the Ẹwà, the true beauty, of the rapid progress and stable governance we are enjoying today.
A 10/10 performance in office deserves our full backing at the polls.
In exactly TEN days, let us stand together as a unified people to lock in our state's glorious future.
On June 20, vote for continuity. Vote for BAO.

Ekiti made history as Vice President Kashim Shettima commissioned three monumental landmarks: the 100,000-job Ekiti Knowledge Zone, the new EFCC Zonal Office, and the 1.2km Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Flyover.
Through strict fiscal discipline and transparent management, we are delivering world-class infrastructure without borrowing a single dime.
The results are real on the ground, the presidency has given its full endorsement, and our momentum and drive to do more is renewed.
Let us keep Ekiti moving forward!

Yesterday in Abuja, the national leadership of the APC officially inaugurated our National Campaign Council.
I am deeply honored by the heavy-weight support from exceptional leaders across Nigeria who are standing firmly with Ekiti.
The National Chairman set a bold target of 500,000 votes. In Ekiti, we welcome big goals because our clear record of performance, transparency, and kept promises speaks for itself.
This election is about establishing a historic precedent for back-to-back continuity. It is a shared mission to protect our free education, expand sustainable wealth, and defend the high standard of governance we have built together.
Our structures are energized, our national allies are aligned, and we march forward with absolute confidence. Ekiti is ready.
