Muslim women across Ekiti State, under the umbrella of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association in Nigeria (FOMWAN), have pledged to mobilise massively for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s @biodunaoyebanji re-election, citing his inclusive style of governance and commitment to religious harmony.

During an engagement at the Government House in Ado Ekiti, the women commended the Governor for creating opportunities for Muslims in government and fostering peaceful coexistence across the state. They described his administration as one that has promoted participation and strengthened confidence among Muslim communities.

Governor Oyebanji expressed appreciation for the support and urged residents to remain peaceful, united and law-abiding before, during and after the election, stressing that the interest of Ekiti State should always come above political differences.

On Saturday, I attended the meeting of leaders and stakeholders of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ekiti State Chapter, held at the residence of the first Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, in Iyin Ekiti.

The meeting which was in furtherance of our shared commitment and collective task to win next Saturday's Governorship Re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, was fruitful as leaders and followers pledged to intensify their grassroots mobilisation ahead of the election day.

In my remarks as Chairman of the State Campaign Council, I thanked the leadership of the party for the confidence reposed in me to coordinate the campaign since its commencement few weeks ago.

I equally urged all party faithful not to approach the election with fear but with confidence, giving the reassurance that Governor Biodun Oyebanji enjoys widespread acceptance across the state.

This is not just a real estate project; it is a deliberate masterplan to position Ekiti as a global digital powerhouse. Our core ambition is clear: we are unlocking a 1 billion dollar annual foreign exchange potential by building an ecosystem that supports 40,000 remote knowledge workers right here in Ekiti.
We did not just start building today; we built the foundation over years of aggressive, strategic preparation:

World-Class Infrastructure:
We have reserved 1,700 hectares of land situated close to four major universities and a polytechnic, complete with a dedicated Independent Power Plant (IPP).

Hyper-Connectivity:
We slashed Right of Way tariffs, resulting in over 1,000km of high-speed fibre broadband laid by MTN and IHS across all 16 LGAs to power a true digital economy.

Talent Pipelines:
We are actively leveraging Ekiti's 15,000 annual graduates, boosting their global readiness through tech partnerships with industry giants like Microsoft and TechCabal.

Global Status:
Our model is so unique that Ekiti was selected by the UK's Knowledge Transfer Network as one of only three African locations recognized for place-based innovation.
