Here is the update on the suit (Judicial Review) taken up by Seksyen 5 residents against the DBKL, for granting the Development Order to the Developer, Nova Pesona Sdn Bhd, to construct 2 blocks of high rises condominium on part of Bukit Dinding.
#2* The Court has also granted a *Stay of the Development Order*. Hence NO CONSTRUCTION WORK (by NOVA PESONA) can be carried out until the matter is disposed by the Court.
Apart from getting more experts to tackle the issue, the government should also work with developers to find innovative solutions to address housing shortage that do not involve development on hill slopes and destruction of forests.

Taman Rimba Kiara decision by the Federal Court is good news but it will be even better if the Unity Government declares that there will no longer be any developments on hills, forested areas and public parks.
