Friends of King Alfred's Field

King Alfred's Field in Moortown is a beautiful open space in North Leeds. This group is for all those who love it. Say hi!
😊👋

Please keep your dogs under control on the fields. I and many others are sick of being pounced on without so much as an apology. #Irresponsibleowners will now be photographed and shamed on here. Please feel free to do the same, as long as it is on/near King Alfred's field.

@FabianLeedsNE So, the plans for King Alfred's field have escalated, now both a junior and an adult pitch? Shows how disingenuous those involved are. #thinendofthewedge #leedscitycouncil #LabourParty #ExtinctionRebellion

@FabianLeedsNE Fabian, lovely to meet you today and thank you for finding the time to hear our objections to the building of a rugby club on King Alfred's field. Mo is coordinating our contact details, I will be helping. Kind regards, Mark Hadley (Leafield Close)

@HelenLPerkins Hi, Helen. Yep, it will completely ruin the lovely fields for all residents. #FabianHamilton, the labour MP, will be there where at at 10 a.m. tomorrow morning to discuss it, if you can make it. The postcode is actually LS17 5BT, I made a typing error!
