This has been my personal Twitter account. Starting tomorrow, this will be used by my campaign to represent you as Mayor of Toronto. For constituency-related inquiries, please feel welcome to contact my office at [email protected]
I enjoyed a wonderful visit to the @AgaKhanMuseum to learn more about the Springtime traditions of Navroz (Nowruz) and celebrate the new year with our city’s Ismaili community today. I was also completely schooled by young and adorable kids about how to paint an egg.
SmartTrack was never real. The promise of 22 stations, built in 7 years, for no upfront tax dollars was a dishonest campaign ploy. The idea was based on a provincial “Big Move” plan, contorted and rebranded, and that ended up with a huge and unnecessary cost to our city.
Thanks so much to @CP24 for inviting me on to have a conversation about the @FriendsofMatlow letter by several remarkable Torontonians I admire, and some of the reasons I’m considering running to serve our city as mayor. https://t.co/rtcXddkyu1
Before I had any real stature, @JoshMatlow trusted in my work as an advocate and gave me space not just to be heard on #homelessness, but to advise on shelter safety policy as well. He was the first — and, for a long time, only — Councillor to listen to us about #encampments.
I signed this open letter in support of @JoshMatlow for Mayor. 🙌🏼
➡️We need a mayor who genuinely cares about future health and wealth of Toronto.
➡️No more party politics.
➡️We need transparent, innovative and inclusive leadership to bring business and residents together.
This brings to light once again the city’s resistance & inability to prioritize a safe and accessible city when it comes to snow clearing. It’s not acceptable that a Canadian city cannot deliver snow clearing adequately & competently. Enough is enough.

I really love and appreciate that Hanlan’s Point is such a unique and queer space. I wholeheartedly support keeping it that way. When it comes to place making, the City can be a vehicle, but it’s the community who should be the driver.
There are places in Toronto where a big private spa would be wonderful. But not here. Ontario Place should be refreshed, rejuvenated and be part of a green, vibrant and public waterfront for us all.
