Stephen Colbert and David Letterman paying tribute to Obama’s infamous tan suit at the Presidential Center opening is exactly the level of pettiness and historical accuracy I respect. 😂
Some controversies deserve a reunion tour.
"I AND ITALY NEVER BEG"
MELONI SLAYS TRUMP AFTER HE SAY: "Meloni? She begged me for a photo, I felt sorry for her"
Giorgia Meloni's rasping response: "Donald Trump's statements are completely made up, I'm frankly appalled. I don't know why the President of the United States behaves this way with his own allies; after all, it's not the first time it's happened. I can only say it's a shame that he doesn't show the same determination with the enemies of the West, with the enemies of the United States, with leaderships toward which he instead proves much more accommodating; however, one thing he must remember: I and Italy never beg."
The end of this video is stunning. Trump signs the MOU, Macron says good job, everyone applauds and then Trump says "oil down, stocks up" - with hand motions!
This is a jaw-dropping, horrific surrender document complete with hundreds of billions in reparations. It is the predictable result of incompetent negotiation and the foolhardy strategic catastrophe of starting and pursuing this disastrous war. The U.S. will not soon recover from this, the biggest national security blunder in decades.
Reagan is rolling over in his grave. Iran’s nuclear ambitions were not curbed, and they have learned that threatening the Strait of Hormuz works and will undoubtedly leverage it in the future. Now, Iran gets to build brand-new infrastructure under this deal.
Before the war, the strait was open, Iran was being crushed by sanctions, and 13 service members were still alive. Now, 13 Americans are dead, families have paid billions at the pump, sanctions will be lifted, and the bombing has stopped. This is the worst foreign policy blunder in decades.
Ok, so it looks very likely that we are going to be a very consequential housing bill out of Congress and to the President for his signature. Here’s a cheat sheet of some of the most important parts of the bill (just going through the text in order). 1/10
Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.
He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.
He hates that I consistently call him out. He is simply the most corrupt President in American history.
We have nothing to hide.
Mr. President, come after me. I am not going anywhere.
The country is watching.
Congress has completely annihilated the budget process. When they pass budget resolutions now, it's for one purpose only: getting around the Senate filibuster.

Pending some final ballots, it looks like Democrats will win the House primaries in California by 30%, roughly 65-35. This is a larger margin than any statewide race, and represents an 10% shift from the 2024 results. Notably, this is actually better than Dems performance in 2018 primaries, when Republicans failed to contest 6 seats (versus 1 this time).
Steven Spielberg refused his salary for SCHINDLER'S LIST. He called profit from the film "blood money" and wouldn't take a single of it. He used his share to found the USC Shoah Foundation, which has since recorded around 55,000 interviews with Holocaust survivors and witnesses.
Robert Lewandowski, Poland’s best soccer player, is currently in Chicago for talks regarding a multi-year contract with @ChicagoFire. Incredible play by Joe Mansueto, if he lands @lewy_official, he locks in a massive new fan base of Chicagoland Poles for the new stadium. @CFDMedia
