@TheUnmumsyMum Your writing is very much enjoyed and appreciated Sarah - there could be a number of reasons but none of them are a reflection of your ability to enthrall your readers.
@TheCancerSutra You must have very different protocols to the UK. My husband has stage 4 melanoma too. He has been undergoing immunotherapy for 2 years, every 6 weeks. He had his last cycle today ๐ค๐ผbut has been NED for well over a year. Over here, the treatment continues anyway.
@mrsflorinda It's a boy thing, and it doesn't mean they don't love you. I have a son exactly the same. Girls just seem to get it - sadly I don't have one of those.
@NatsWoodward@snufflewort It is true that there are many, many, bad, lazy or dismissive medical professionals within the NHS. When reported, they get moved around but never dismissed. Of course there are many angels too, but my goodness, the organisation needs a kick up the arse!
@RedVelesov @ThatDudeOMP@harnessDemDicks @BecomingAdamCom Not if they're expecting the state to pick up the bill. What they do with the money they earn is up to them.
@zacharyblaise@fesshole We've plonked bits of our parents all over the place - anywhere we think they'd like. I hadn't realised before just how much ash there is!
@fran_odriscoll To have been unable to save your child must be the greatest heartache a parent can endure. Know that it was not your fault, nor his. Sending love and strength. Your boy had a beautiful smile โค๏ธ
@danni_ox_ Next year give her a card and a bunch of daffs. Tell her that her reaction to this year's effort was indifference and that you've therefore surmised that she doesn't attach any importance to the day.
