Save the Sea Squirts! A protected and rare species of sea squirt is under threat from luxury housing development and plans to rip up the Clyde's ancient coastal woodland. https://t.co/mVw4AO1RzE
The team would like everyone to join us in supporting our colleagues at #Portincaple please follow this group on Facebook another team fighting to save a beautiful Scottish hamlet from over development and please RT - https://t.co/ZDXgajd4XX
The unusual creature was a bit of a wildlife celebrity in the Helensburgh area a decade ago - what's your most unusual wildlife spot? https://t.co/cfzYARIxex
Worth remembering that currently the small hamlet of Portincaple has 54 houses #p_pod Mr Olive will be changing the nature of this special place entirely and forever.
There is absolutely no space whatsoever to widen Feuins Road. We are faced with the prospect of huge trucks pounding up and down for construction purposes and then the traffic from 36 houses and plenty o commercial entities #p_pod
Weโve many concerns about the proposed development by Mr. Olive. One of the main ones is the increase in vehicular traffic on our wee Feuins Road. Itโs barely wide enough to swing a Pine Marten but weโll see a potential tripling of cars on it if proposed plans are approved #p_pod
Weโve met with #jackiebaillie and @BrendanOHaraSNP for the time and advice on how to proceed with regard to whatโs going down in Portincaple #p_pod
Iโm sure #emmathompson would be interested in knowing whatโs going down within sight of lovely Ardentinny, near Blairmore. Is it possible to contact her ? #p_pod
We in Portincaple are extremely concerned and worried what @argyllandbute might approve regarding Mr Olive and his plans. Itโs common knowledge what happened with his Carrick Castle application. We cannot stand by and let his carbuncle on the shores of beautiful Loch Long happen
So far we know a bit about what Mr. Pelham Olive proposes to do within Portincaple. His plans are yet to be formally submitted but there is pre Screening application on the Argyll & Bute planning portal... #p_pod
