@SynthPotato With my friends and having impromptu races on the tarmac. There was no missions or objectives. We role played with just our imagination and that was enough for us at that time. It was a glorious time
@SynthPotato And just creating my own scenarios in the open world. Not too mention the first iteration of what GTA online would later be. It was revolutionary getting to explore the whole map in an online mode at that time. So many times I would end up at the airport drifting around (➡️pt.4)
@SynthPotato limitations that came with being an immigrant. Also it really captured the New York, big city, Americana of the early 2000s leading into the 2010s. This game truly is a time capsule in itself. I spent hundreds of hours just driving around listing to the radio stations. (➡️pt. 3)
@SynthPotato I think 4 doesn’t get the praise it deserves. I absolutely loved the grittiness and sort of limitations you had. As an imigrant who moved to a completely new country a couple of years before this dropped it sort of represented that feeling of a new world and the social (➡️ pt.2)
@LadyBugDarling@nimgaladh It’s in Switzerland. It belongs to a Middle Earth collector and he has a whole museum filled with memorabilia, original autographed books by Tolkin and even movie scrips from all of the films. Definitely check it out if you ever get the chance to go to Switzerland
