@pitdesi Many just go to Europe to avoid inflated US IVF costs. In Europe, women keep all of their eggs. Instead of 15k, a retrieval is like 2k. Storage is cheap. Then fly back to complete the process.
@olegmalenkov@immad Many banks add countries to prohibited lists if they are in/near a conflict zone or compliance-intensive to deal with. Sanctions is often only one of the many factors considered.
@codenamefnatic@immad It may be worth noting: this is what every bank in the world does. Compliance teams have regular risk reviews and constantly modify their prohibited country lists.
@rexsalisbury Is the data used solely based on new company formation? If so, any idea what the breakdown is for US corps set up by a) US residents vs b) non-resident foreigners?
Would be interesting to know what percentage of that 60% increase actually came from US residents vs NR foreigners.
@asanwal Other questions to consider: family wealth level, education level of parents, zip code from 0-18, extent of family financial support provided, etc.
@asanwal It's not a "hard"/"tough" vibe, but @tuttletwins has a following amongst the libertarian/free market crowd. Not sure what their numbers are like though.
