I don't know why Tad is obscure. I've never run across anyone randomly talking about it, and I had to dig around to find it during the whole mess with Suno downloading changes to see what alternatives were like.

The only serious competitor to Suno on the melodies themselves is an obscure one from Singapore call Tad. Sounds remarkably like Suno 4.5
