Finally got time to watch the City game. Some bullet points:
🔸Saliba Imperious. Best CB in the world by far. There's no competition at the moment
🔸 Havertz the 2nd best Arsenal player on the day and the reason we even had a fighting chance in this game. Should've taken a touch in the Khusanov incident, before going down. Would've been an easy decision for Anthony Tailor
🔸Rice, super impressive OOP but leaves a lot to desire In-possession
🔸Eze at big fault for the Cherki goal
🔸Ødegaard, poor execution. Consistently let the team down. Shying away from duels even when he is the favourite is just unacceptable from a captain
🔸 Zubimendi competition/upgrade has to be a priority this summer. A supposed build-up savant who can never get us out of pressure and control the tempo of the game is of no utility especially when he's not special OOP either
Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Fabian Hurzeler has accused Arsenal of taking too long over corners when they are leading in a match.
Hurzeler has called for a clampdown on wasted time at set pieces as his side attempt to dent the table-topping side’s Premier League title challenge at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.
Mikel Arteta’s side have scored 16 goals from corners overall this season, the joint-most by any side in a single campaign.

Andrea Berta man. Today makes it exactly 6 months since he joined Arsenal. He joined on March 30th.
He signed Kepa, Mosquera, Hincapié, Nørgaard, Zubimendi, Eze, Madueke and Gyökeres in the summer.
He committed MLS, Nwaneri, Gabriel and Saliba all to new long term contracts. Saka next
He has done all these in just 6 months. Bruh, a competent Sporting Director will change your life. Incredible!👏
EXCL 🚨💣: #AFC inform #FCB of decision to trigger €62m bid for Antoine Semenyo next summer. Ideal move for the winger + personal terms now agreed. Player committed to #AFC + agreement between clubs similar to that of Martin Zubimendi. Player committed to last season at #FCB. 🍒
🚨❤️🤍 BREAKING: Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, here we go! Verbal agreement in place between all parties.
Crystal Palace to receive package in excess of £60m as Eze preferred #AFC over Spurs.
Arsenal win race over Tottenham, been in advanced talks for days but never sealed.
Won the league fair enough, but seeing Liverpool fans I know posting everywhere, my question is how do you actually get any enjoyment from it when your ‘support’ goes no further than your front room or occasionally at the pub? You’re not part of anything, I’ll never understand it
This feeling has been created on social media. In real life, this Arsenal team just reached the semi finals of the CL for the first time in 16 years, even after an injury ridden season with no striker. There is one 30+ year old in our XI. And the coach still hasn’t added the attacking investment. This season has been our floor, not our peak.
