For many young people, accessing the right services isn't always easy. For first-time young mothers especially, balancing the demands of caring for a new baby, finding time, navigating costs and knowing where to go can often mean putting their own health last.

That's why, this week, we are bringing integrated #HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health services closer to the community.

Yesterday, Young people showed up, asked questions, sought care and took important steps towards protecting their health and planning their futures.

💙 On Day One alone, yesterday, we served over 200 first-time young mothers through our integrated service delivery.

This is with support from United Nations Population Fund (@UNFPAKen) and in collaboration with the @NairobiCityGov County, as part of our shared commitment to ensuring young people and first-time young mothers have access to quality, integrated healthcare close to where they live.

Every adolescent girl who walks into a health facility, nervous, uncertain, is the person who determines whether she gets care with dignity.👩‍⚕️ A nurse.

Nurses are the backbone of Kenya's health system. Strengthening them is not a programme activity. It is the foundation. 🏗️

Through this partnership, NNAK will support the training and continuous professional development of mid-level healthcare providers, building a workforce that delivers quality, adolescent-responsive SRMH services. 💡

This feeds directly into the Her Health Initiative, five counties, real systems change, built to last long after any project cycle ends. 📌

We are not building a programme. We are building systems that work for her. 🔥
