🚨 The U.S. produced over 21 billion gallons of #biofuels in 2024, including:
16.2 billion gals of fuel #ethanol (record high)
3.2 billion gals of renewable diesel (record high)
1.7 billion gals of #biodiesel
0.3 billion gals of other biofuels (including #SAF) (record high)
“Swinging from one extreme to the other, it's not the right policy approach in a long-cycle industry like this, where we allocate capital that's out there for decades. So we really need consistent and durable policy,” Mike Worth, Chevron CEO #energy#petroleumindustry
Apparently South Dakota isn’t as supportive of ag development as it says it is. Billions in development have just been given the middle finger. https://t.co/zvj9CyVjSL.
Listening to @NuseedUSandCA very own Brent Javra kick off our energy and carinata panel discussions and crop tour (which is tomorrow) #bioenergy#biofuels#agriculture@NuseedGlobal
Iowa continues to pave the way for expanded use of biodiesel. Thanks to @RepMMM, biodiesel may soon be used in ocean vessels, which will decrease emissions and bolster our energy independence. https://t.co/oWb9QpXfiI
Fact check: 100% false. Trump's 45Q incentives for carbon sequestration would have remained. Vivek owes an apology to Iowa delegation and owes it to voters to know the facts before making unfounded attacks.
.@VivekGRamaswamy is attacking efforts to build #carbon sequestration pipelines that would expand markets for Iowa #ethanol. But what's the real story? Read more - https://t.co/gYqt3EBg9X
Why is it not "dead wrong and unconstituational to use eminent domain to seize farmland" for a private, for-profit, foreign-owned oil pipeline? You touted your support for that project just this week. You're talking out of both sides of your mouth.

BREAKING 🚨 - @votetimscott is the first presidential candidate to check all of our boxes on vital #biofuels issues.
We appreciate the time Sen. Scott has taken to educate himself on renewable fuels and we hope to see additional candidates join him in supporting biofuels!
As Biofuels Vision actively engages candidates on vital topics surrounding #biofuels, responses are recorded on a tracker that is constantly updated and posted to the Biofuels Vision website. Be sure to check https://t.co/Uye8XVEsQq periodically to stay up-to-date with where biofuels stand in the candidates' presidential vision! #IACaucus
This simply isn’t true. There is a strong public use. They will capture CO2 from ethanol plants which are FAR less polluting than oil refineries. If we don’t continue to find ways to lower the carbon intensity of corn, eventually corn prices will plummet. Sorry, you’re antifarm
2. Carbon pipelines are not like oil or gas pipelines. They have 0 public use. They capture co2 emissions from polluters, in this case ethanol plants, pressurize it into a supercritical or liquid form, and pump it thru pipelines.
Biofuels Vision 2024 is excited to share documented unanimous support for consumer access to year-round #E15 and opposition to electric vehicles (#EV) mandates from presidential candidates who are actively campaigning in Iowa for the Republican nomination. #IACaucus
After the pandemic, the agriculture industry and other sectors of the U.S. economy are focused on working together in a push for expanded rural broadband.
Implications for #healthcare, #education and the food #supplychain are all on the table.

I led the House Biofuels Caucus in urging the @USDA and @SecVilsack to use their authority and provide COVID-19 relief to the renewable fuels industry, who have been hurt by the pandemic. Biofuels like ethanol are a critical market for farmers in #IL13 and across the country.
