Partly correct @artsch00lreject.
The first ever “doge” reference was on Reddit by @realjohnmonarch - that is why he is “famous”.
When you go to that post, you see the picture of the dog no longer exists… why? $DOGE paid him big bucks to scrape it from existence. Kills their “IP”. We used the Wayback machine and found the original.
This whole time DOGE has been a lie. Built an “IP” around the lie. The first memecoin started off with a bundle vamp on the original cute dog. @blknoiz06
We are first to ever launch an original and on the chain owned by DOGE lover @vladtenev, who I trust makes things right eventually.
history lesson on $doge IP;
Doge’s owner never got IP rights to the coin, and nothing about the coin was illegal.
The IP timeline. Atsuko Sato, a kindergarten teacher who adopted Kabosu in 2008, has always held the copyright on the original 2010 photos — that never transferred. When Markus and Palmer launched Dogecoin in December 2013, they just used the meme. No license agreement, no payment, no deal. Dogecoin is decentralized and has no owning company, so there was never an entity that could have signed an IP agreement.
On “illegally.” Unlicensed use of a copyrighted photo is a civil matter, not a crime, and Sato never sued anyone. More importantly, a token’s price has nothing to do with its logo’s licensing status — DOGE ran because of retail speculation and Musk’s posts, not because anyone laundered IP into value.
We have been active in the $PONS ecosystem since day 1. It is sad to see @MEADGod support somebody like @CryptoKaleo who is selling out of side wallets and ignore a day 1 dev.
This is equivalent to our pinned and what $DOGE did to the original Reddit post. Sad.
@meowingsigma67@MEADGod also handpicks and tells his friends. We launched there day 1, crazy lore, and have stayed consistent posting…
Yet he only feeds insidoors which are all the same 20 people in every Pons coin that moves
I might have just found the meme that was supposed to replace "doge" as the top animal meme
In late 2013, right as Doge was taking over the internet, 4chan’s /s4s/ started pushing this seal/walrus character called "Walruse".
One archived thread literally declares: “walruse is the current #1 meme.”
This wasn’t happening years later either — it was happening at the absolute peak of Doge mania.
On Reddit, people coming from 4chan were already posting “walruse > doge,” while others complained Doge had become overused and too mainstream.
Walruse also had its own meme language.
The joke was that “Walruse” = “what a ruse,” so when someone got tricked they had been “walrused.”
People immediately started making variations, reaction images and even asking for “moar” Walruse content.
Doge became one of the biggest memes ever.
Walruse became the forgotten challenger that now gets to relive in glory.

@wizardofsoho Surprised not a single Weekly Wizard person figured out the lore about Doge Foundatiok nuking the OG picture off the site…
Sitting at 5k on the chain of Doges biggest fan
@world_xyz Original doge picture was deleted in the biggest cover up story in history by the doge foundation

Traders will never be famous. Scammers will.
$DOGE was a scam and they made a Netflix doc on it. Check out pinned.
Fomo and Pumpfun glorify bundlers and they are getting rich and the attention.
Only @blknoiz06 can save us. @notthreadguy@rasmr_eth keep increasing their reach.
