"It's a real headache." Hong Kong's COVID curbs make it tough to attract top international talent. While the city continues to make open doors with China a priority, free movement between the two remains a sticking point.

Sources say White House is expected to announce that no US government official will attend the #Olympics. If this holds true, it would be a major breakthrough for a diplomatic boycott of #Beijing2022 👏
EU officials should also make the right choice and uphold #NoRightsNoGames

Very important development, and it is high time that the EU follows suit as demanded by @Europarl_EN. Boycotting #Beijing2022 is the least that Western democracies ought to do to stand up to #CCP oppression

Had the pleasure of meeting with @EnesKanter and my friend @jooeysiiu to discuss our efforts to stand with Hong Kong, support Taiwan, and free Uyghurs. I commend Enes for using his platform to highlight China’s human rights abuses.
Today I join elected officials from around the world and from a broad range of political traditions in calling for a full diplomatic boycott of the #Beijing2022 Olympics, in solidarity with the peoples of the PRC. #norightsnowshow CC: @ipacglobal@melaniejoly#cdnpoli
1/ Statement on Olympic Coverage
The FCCC is concerned about the lack of transparency and clarity from the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG) as well as the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with regards to Olympic-related reporting in China.
Taiwan is a critical partner to the United States and a democratic success story. Taiwan should have meaningful participation in the @UN system, especially as we face an unprecedented number of global challenges.
