@MariaAgnesQuinn I suppose if we get to a point where dad can take a month old embryo out of me, and grow it himself, I'd let him have it. I do encourage anti-abortion activists to develop this technology :P
As for me, I never want to carry a child to term and don't believe I should be forced to.

@MariaAgnesQuinn Part of it is that the fetus, especially early on, is a tiny cluster of cells without anything we'd generally consider as consciousness. However, it's still a difficult issue and not a choice I'd want to make for anyone. Pregnant person alone must make that ethical decision.

@MariaAgnesQuinn Oh no, I understand. The barriers to adoption are a major issue that I wish we would take more seriously as a society. It definitely doesn't help children to languish when a more loving home is available.

@MariaAgnesQuinn I think the two issues, while related, are different. Ableist abortions are very sad (many of us wouldn't be here), but at the same time, the right to abortion is imperative for one's own health and freedom. Everyone should be allowed to make that decision for themselves.

@MariaAgnesQuinn The joke is that, if it were at all possible to choose whom you're attracted to, it would be safer for all people with vaginas to only sleep with other people with vaginas, starting today. Because anyone who can impregnate you just became dangerous.
