@lee_and_mopsey @JadeMasterMath Modern compilers unroll loops for you, create preambles /postambles and optimise aggressively. Using clang and looking at the assembly it spits out is pretty informative.

If you know the number of iterations, it'll still probably be faster with a loop, unless that is v small.
