It's a survival game, and those tend to rely on you making your own fun with the sandbox.

@jeezy9z Most jRPGs used to be under 50hrs. Some of the best are 35hrs or less. All my favorites are about 30hrs a piece.
These games needs to stop bloating their playtime, Persona 5 is made a worse experience by how long it drags itself out.

With context it's an abrupt tonal shift that makes no sense in the grand scheme of the plot and takes up too much time.

Cohesion can be fun, and breaking it can ruin the fun.
