A new report claims PlayStation could be using social media bots to defend its decision to stop making physical game discs.

According to Moore’s Law Is Dead, AI was used to analyze accounts posting in support of PlayStation’s digital-only future.

The report says many of those accounts looked suspicious, with recent creation dates, AI-generated profile pictures, and very similar posting patterns.

• A coalition of states argues the deal violates federal antitrust law and could lead to higher prices and fewer movies and TV shows.
