The data is taken from scrim codes that generate positional logs, like R0MNN from wayyy back in OW1. Updates are only each seconds. The demo is obviously super rough, I just quickly threw something together, but in the end it will be smooth

Been thinking about creating a top-down replay viewer for quite a while and finally have time. Would anyone find this useful? Been told a few times that some sort of replay for past scrims would be nice because an update removes replays for past games
