@neilrackett So I'm assuming the SDL backend has been ripped out for a custom renderer etc?

Is this STE only?

Need more details 😁

@RetroRacing Nice Jonathan, it suits the Le Mans style car better than the Lotus placeholder.

You need a crash effect for when you total the car and it flips 👍🏻

[Frankie @FuriousFrankie]

@RetroRacing Fair enough mate, hoping someone adds that then to give it a console feel 😁

[Frankie @FuriousFrankie]

@RetroRacing Really polished. Great stuff. This is begging for 4 player serial connected multiplayer 😁

[Frankie @FuriousFrankie]

@RetroRacing @ScottElkington That genuinely looks loads better, just feels more polished. The combination of taller sprites, shadows and the extra frames. Top stuff.

[Frankie @FuriousFrankie]

@KingBobIIV Bait and switch.

[Frankie @FuriousFrankie]

@RetroRacing Great stuff Jonathan. But I thought the STE blitter was a useless piece of crap? 😜

Does this mean Lotus 2 is permanently on hold?
