Intersex people have a right to make decisions about their own bodies and sexual futures, just like anyone else.

Further problem: these cases only arose because parents disagreed. Where parents agree on circ the best interest test is not applied and the family courts have no right to prevent it. Best interests of the child are uniform, but protection depends on the whim of parents. /end
Five family law cases in last 20 years did all rule in favour of preventing circumcision and allowing the child to make his own decision as an adult. However the courts started from the presumption that infant circ is lawful, did not ask for justification.
