Black voters are risk averse and back the establishment even when they don't deliver. This dynamic must end. We shouldn't be the last ones on a sinking ship. We should be demanding Black officials who really represent us. A Black crowd chanting “You’re next!” would be awesome.
@mattconvente@Half__86 Okay but none of that matters vote blue no matter who. Wild that liberals drop it when candidates threaten the imperialist status quo.
@mattconvente DSA is actively trying to make the lives of Americans better, both Democrats and Republicans are working hand and hand to keep it shitty in the US.
Two years ago, the Columbia encampment seemed to have failed at its stated aims.
And yet Columbia will be represented in Congress by a participant in that encampment. Remarkable.
@RpsAgainstTrump The party moving to the left and starting to become an actual left party is going to end well. America having two right-wing parties is why shit sucks now.
“The United States is an empire that is built on stolen land and stolen people. These are the primary contradictions, the main issues, around which affairs in this country revolve. There is no understanding of the United States without understanding this basic thesis. This is why our Oglala comrades on Pine Ridge live in poverty and misery. This is why a one year old Black child, Kohen Wiley, was shot to death in a vehicle in Senatobia, MS by a pig, who was then placed on administrative leave. This is why ICE pigs round up and torture people up and down this land. This is why the federal government is waging lawfare against comrades and the masses who stand in solidarity against these crimes, rigging up phony cases and kangaroo courts.
This is why illegal war is made across the world, from Iran (ever victorious) to Palestine (ever victorious). This is why this country continues to strangle Cuba, clutches at Bolivia, and meddles in the Congo. A movement which fails to grasp the continued need of imperialism for blood and treasure extracted from internal colonies and the entire working class at home and abroad will remain, regardless of how well meaning, a fundamentally reformist one, incapable of addressing the root cause of all these problems.”
@linnell_matt@chaim_fr@MeidasTouch Their hyperwarmingering and bigotry, how is that not liberalism? I hope you understand that Republicans and Democrats are both liberal parties.
@KnowingBetterYT@mertcentury "Used to cost" is a mouthful, so I see why people would say "costed", and if the meaning you intend is delivered, it doesn't matter if the word is real or not.
Neera and her circle of failed nephew DNC consultants are far more responsible for Trump’s victory than a random twitch streamer. She knows this deep down.
