A few weeks ago, I co-hosted a workshop with @YMCAGTA focused on using AI for career empowerment as part of my work with @FutureFitAI.
Jobs and AI usually get a bad rep, but I'm a big believer AI is a tool of extension with the right mindset + skillset.
Common questions that came up:
- What additional skills do I need to learn?
- What tools do you use?
- I'm worried. Is AI going to take my job?
While there's a lot of noise in AI right now, the framework I use is simple:
🔑Key: focus on the habits, not the tools (tools come later)
1. Adopt the right mindset: lean into an "AI growth mindset" --> stay curious and experiment
2. Adapt a hybrid approach: learn best practices but reinvent with your own style and what works for YOU
3. Apply for breadth and depth: AI reinvents effort tradeoffs and expands your ability to solve problems by allowing you to go deeper and wider in a domain
