Why digital only doesn't work on Playstation:

- Closed off ecosystem
- Monopoly on storefront
- Shutdown old console storefronts
- No preservation efforts
- Sony dictates the price through 1 storefront
- No returns, refunds out of the question
- Forced online subscription

Why digital only works on PC:

- Open market
- Open ecosystem through OS
- Preservation efforts through GOG & backups
- Fair pricing through competition
- Ability to make physical backups from DRM free games

It all comes down to choice and competition.

@LikeToBeBossy Great concept, horrendous pricing. Unfortunately a product of the memory shortage ;-; I'll wait till it gets cheaper, then maybe during a sale. Do like the fact that it's repairable and easy to upgrade ram and storage though.

Idiots should stop targeting #Steam. PC games cost the same as on console, or are cheaper than the horrendous pricing on for example PSN. Other companies try to raise prices. But @valvesoftware plays unfair? Give me a break. What a ridiculous class action lawsuit. #gameclaim

@LikeToBeBossy While optional, I differ in opinion on this🙂 (and that's fine!) Especially considering the paid tech demo (welcome tour) for switch 2, the paid performance upgrades (at least give a free option like they for other games) and the DLC pass for Pokemon ZA before it even launched.

@LikeToBeBossy I guess my brain malfunctioned or my keyboard didn't register the "3". DLC is fine if it expands nicely on the base game. But if it's released less than half a year from the launch of the base game, why wasn't it included in the base game? 😭

I want to love Nintendo. I really do. But man, they make it so difficult not to hate them. Just give me free increased game performance. I don't need some pointless small upgrades to get another 5 to 25 euro out of me. #nintendodirect

I'm so done with Nintendo announcing DLC literal months after a game's launch... It shouldn't be DLC if it's ready for release so closely after launch. 😭

@LikeToBeBossy Some absolute bangers vice versa as well. I don't understand the obsession. The conversation should be about whether the characters are likeable, memorable and whether the story is good. Bad characters with a single personality trait are what kills the fun.
