Yesterday at the White House, leaders from across our industry came together to sign the White House Accord on Super Intelligence.
The principle is simple: the companies building this technology have the primary responsibility to develop and deploy it safely, and to be accountable when they fall short.
The Accord reinforces that responsibility with robust internal controls, independent external evaluation, and board level oversight.
Super Intelligence offers an extraordinary opportunity to advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity.
The future of Super Intelligence will be shaped not only by what it can do, but by the confidence it earns. By building with ambition, rigor, and responsibility, we can help ensure this extraordinary technology expands opportunity and improves lives for generations to come.
Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry.
Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come.
But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility.
This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems.
Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy.
Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. https://t.co/ugYWQ1MyRi
There is an extensive and ongoing review related to our agents’ use of internet access during training and evaluation. We’ve been publishing summaries at the link below and will continue to.
We have not been as fast as we would have liked but we are trying to balance our desire for transparency with gaining a clear understanding from petabytes of agent activity logs, and working with impacted organizations.
We are prioritizing as best as we can based on severity, and adding resources. Hugging Face is still the most severe event we’ve seen. We will be as transparent as we can be subject to things like vulnerabilities in other companies that our agents have found, which will be their call to disclose or not.
Cloud sessions are officially available and out of research preview! They let you keep Claude Code working, even when your laptop is closed.

AI will beat all fields of science by 2028? Hardly.
As I have often pointed out, the only AI that works well today is AI in the virtual world behind the screen, for example for automatically summarizing documents, playing chess, proving theorems, creating images, programs and PowerPoint slides. But there is no AI-controlled robot that can do what a plumber can do, or what a capuchin monkey can do, because the physical world is much more demanding than the world behind the screen. Passing the Turing Test is much easier than True AI or Real AI in the physical world. Hence the Turing Test is not a good way of measuring intelligence. To achieve True AI, AI software research per se is not enough, it has to be combined with the physical world of machines and robots. No AGI without mastery of the real world [1]!
Much of science is about learning to interact with the real world. Our fragile AI-driven robots are really bad at that. Sure, as I have predicted for 5 decades, at some point we'll have superhuman physical AI. But it will take longer than 2 years.

One more thing: we’re increasing five-hour usage limits on Pro, Max, and Team plans. We’re also providing subscription users a rate limit reset, which you can save and use whenever you choose.
Introducing Claude Opus 5.5, the first model in our new Claude 5.5 family.
It performs at the level of Claude Fable 5.1 for most tasks, and costs 40% less to run than Opus 5.
