Okay, let's talk "passkeys".

Lots of sites are pushing them, to "make it easier to log in", so you don't have to use passwords.

Problem is, lots of sites only allow passkeys in the form of biometrics: fingerprint or face.

DO NOT DO THIS.

You can be legally compelled to provide biometrics for access to things.

If the "passkey" option allows the use of a hardware token (like a Yubikey, which I recommend), do that instead. If they allow use of a TOTP (the 6-digit number that changes about every 30 seconds, like that provided by google authenticator, microsoft authenticator, authy, or any of a number of other solutions -- they're all interchangeable, by the way, regardless of what vendors might say) as a passkey, use that.

Do NOT use your face or fingerprint as your means of access to anything. Not a website, not a computer, not your phone.

If at any point I and one or several friends drives somewhere more than 10 minutes away we each have at least one handgun usually more, and depending on the type of outing several rifles may still be in the trunk, either coming back from a range trip, or recently purchased.

I carry one of the largest semi automatic handguns commercially available, the USP Elite, or my USP Tactical with a brake.

This gun is longer than H&Ks MK23, it is longer than a Desert Eagle. It sits inside my waistband and pokes me when I sit down. Even if I am making a 5 minute trip to the post office, I take this gun with me. It does not get left in the car, it comes into the post office with me.

Any place in America where the average citizen is not within arms reach of a gun is not American.

It is a remix of Kaewon's fully DIY Yippee-Ki-Yay that uses a CMMG bolt to be SS/FRT compatible.

It is compatible with many original Yippee-Ki-Yay parts but includes fun new versions of each part.
