🚨 MISSING PERSON APPEAL 🚨
Have you seen Jamie, 38, who is missing from Littlehampton?
He was last seen in Worthing on Sunday 19 July, and police are concerned for his welfare.
Jamie is bald, has a beard, and has tattoos on his chest and arms.
He has links to Chichester, Rustington, Ferring, Durrington, Worthing, Rochdale and Tadworth.
📞 If you see Jamie, call 999 immediately quoting serial 1662 of 20/07.
This is from a May 2026 case report in Frontiers in Neuroscience by Marcos Lago et al. at Associação Cruz de Ankh clinic in São Paulo, Brazil.
An octogenarian Japanese-American woman with advanced Alzheimer’s (diagnosed 10 years prior, severe for ~5) received a supervised 5g dose of psilocybin mushrooms (Enigma strain). After ~19 hours in a sleep-like state with heavy sweating, she awoke and spoke full autobiographical sentences for hours. Over following weeks she regained urinary continence, walked independently, dressed herself, recognized family, and engaged socially.
Effects were temporary. Single observational case—intriguing but preliminary with clear limitations. More research needed. Not medical advice.
A sincere thank you to the elected members and councillors across the country who have been supporting our work, raising these issues locally, and keeping us informed as local government reorganisation develops in their areas.
The names chosen for new authorities matter. They shape public understanding, local identity and the way historic counties are recognised - or obscured - for generations.
We are now working through the proposed new authority areas in detail, analysing how they relate to the historic counties and making the results available on our interactive map.
The first six proposed LGR areas are now live at https://t.co/w5jzJVGEKI, with more to follow shortly.
We are grateful to every councillor helping to ensure that historic county identity is properly understood, respected and represented in this process.
