A woman asked an elderly man, "How much do you sell these eggs for?"
The old man replied, "50 cents per egg, lady."
The woman said, "I’ll take 6 eggs for $2.50, or I won’t buy any."
The old seller answered, "You can pay whatever you want. It’s fine. I haven’t sold a single egg today, and I need to sell everything to feed my family."
She bought the eggs at her price, feeling like she had won.
Later, she got into her nice car and went to a fancy restaurant with her boyfriend. They ordered what they wanted, ate a little, and left most of it.
The bill came to €180, and the woman left €200, telling the owner it was a tip.
For the chef of a luxury restaurant, this might seem normal, but for the egg seller, it seems unfair.
The question is:
Why do we always feel the need to show power over a poor seller when we buy from them, yet we are so generous to those who don’t need our help?
I once read something that stayed with me:
“My father would buy goods from the poor at high prices, even when he didn’t need them. He would sometimes pay more than the asking price. I asked him why, and he said, ‘This is charity wrapped in dignity, my daughter.’”
I know most of you might not share this story, but if you’re one of the few who took the time to read it, please consider sharing it. Maybe you’re planting a good seed for someone to see.
He was burning alive, yet he kept re-entering the burning Bradley Fighting Vehicle until all six soldiers and the Iraqi interpreter were safe. Burns covered 72% of his body. His first words were, ‘How are my boys?’ He died three weeks later. It took 16 years for him to receive the Medal of Honor. HIS NAME IS SERGEANT FIRST CLASS ALWYN C. CASHE, NEVER FORGET!
🚨WOW!!!
A college student is being praised as a HERO after she saw 3 little girls drowning in Lake Washington, jumped in, and saved ALL THREE GIRLS.
The last one was UNCONSCIOUS, underwater, tangled in a rope, only her hair was still floating.
All 3 SURVIVED!!!! ❤️
Her name is Lillie Vehling.
She is an engineering student at UC Davis and an attacker on the women's water polo team.
She was in Seattle for a summer internship and went to Seafair for the very first time, sitting at Genesee Park waiting on the Blue Angels with a book in her hands.
Then she scanned the water.
Three girls were out past the buoy line, bobbing, screaming, going under. She is a certified lifeguard who started her own swim lesson program, so she knew exactly what she was looking at.
One of the girls was pushing the other two under just to get a breath.
That is when she went in.
She grabbed that girl first, to stop her from taking the other two down with her. Got her to shallow water. Went back for the second one.
Then she went back a third time.
By then the third girl was already gone under.
Lillie: "I just saw her black hair in the water barely floating."
The child was unconscious AND tangled in the rope of a buoy she had been clawing at to save her own life.
Lillie got an arm under her, lifted her head out of the water, and hauled her to shore.
The little girl coughed up the lake and came back.
Seattle Fire paramedics met them on the beach. One girl went to Seattle Children's Hospital in stable condition.
All three lived.
Seafair's president found her that same day. Her first question was whether Lillie was okay. Her second was whether she could give her a hug.
That night they brought her to the gala and knighted her "Lady Guardian of Lake Washington."
Admirals lined up to meet her.
And Lillie? She is chasing a career in the nuclear Navy.
Seafair's president says she hopes the next time Lillie comes back to that lake, it is in a Blue Angels cockpit.
"To save three people, I didn't think twice about myself."
GOD BLESS Lillie Vehling, and GOD BLESS the firefighter who raised her.
THIS IS THE AMERICA I KNOW!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Iran’s youth didn’t die for negotiations with the Islamic Republic. Our fight isn’t over until our homeland blossoms with warmth and liberty once more.
This is a church in Otranto, Italy.
These are real skulls belonging to Christians who were beheaded by muslim invaders for refusing to convert.
The entire city was massacred and enslaved in 1480 by the Ottomans, an atrocity so barbaric that this church put its martyrs on display to never allow the West to forget.
Sadly, in the year 2026 it's happening again, and everyone has forgotten.
History repeats itself.
I am asking Elon @elonmusk to please activate @Starlink in Colombia.
We don’t know how many people are dead as rescue efforts are ongoing.
I am also asking @POTUS to please send aid & support in this disaster.

Sharia law is a direct threat to our Constitution and way of life.
Rep. Roy’s Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act (H.R.5722) would BAN the entry of aliens who adhere to Sharia law.
Congress must act quickly before it’s too late for our Republic.
Some people probably think we should keep our mouths shut about politics.
Let me tell you something. If Christians don't take a stand against this evilness going on right now and speak up.
We ain't gonna have a United States of America!
🚨 THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
Republicans across the country are asking the same question out loud:
Why does this administration refuse to confront the threat of Islam in America?
