@thealphatron A student cannot copy every book in a library and say, "It's for my education". They generally need access thru lawful purchase, borrowing, license, or fair use *limited* copying. Copyright infringement can occur at the copying stage, so throwing away the book later doesn't fix
@ryderklip this is why i had to set the record straight when people questioned the accuracy of Leon's portrayal in this fan comic. You can question Wolf x James, and whether it transferred as Wolf x Fox. But you CANNOT question Leon x Wolf. it is simply canon

@FluorescentArt when i was posting on that sub and saw that rule and saw that the explanation was "to prevent any possible discourse", I was like, 'yeah, i know exactly what these mods were dealing with" XD
OK, I should have realized that most of the posts on X complaining about inauthentic content demonetizations are not serious. It's just clout chasing within communities of other inauthentic content producers. but alas...
@realdata3d1 you people are not serious. your template is this:
1. download some set of stats. Like tallest person by x, or richest person by y
2. put them in a list
3. do a panning animation that goes through the listicle
4. redo "tallest [a] by [b]" "richest [c] by [d]"
@XStrangeHistory Inauthentic content is about demonetization. Demonetization is not the same thing as suspension. Circumvention is about bypassing a suspension. If you are demonetized, other channels can be demonetized, but that's not the same thing as circumvention suspensions.

It's been almost 2 months since YouTube demonetized me for "Inauthentic Content," even though I record and edit everything myself, handwritten edit. I submitted my video appeal on April 9, just hours after the penalty, but it seems to have been completely ignored.. @TeamYouTube
Hello @TeamYouTube@YouTube@YouTubeCreators@nealmohan@UpdatesFromYT,
I am trying my hardest to get a real person to review my channel, ScalingStories, and watch my appeal/behind-the-scenes video with the full context of how my content is made.
My channel was demonetized for “inauthentic content,” but I genuinely believe that label does not reflect my work. I understand why YouTube has policies against mass-produced, repetitive, automated, or minimally transformed content. I respect those rules, and I would never want to build my channel in a way that goes against them.
But my videos are not automated, low-effort, or mass-produced. They are voiced by me, edited by me, and built around my own commentary, reactions, and personal perspective. I record my own gameplay/background footage, manually edit in DaVinci Resolve, and use custom avatars to represent myself while speaking to my viewers.
I do not simply read stories and upload them. I add my thoughts throughout the video, explain my perspective, react to the choices being made, and try to make the content entertaining, thoughtful, and useful for my audience. My viewers directly respond to my commentary in the comments, which shows they are engaging with my personal contribution, not just the original story.
I also made a behind-the-scenes video showing my process because I wanted to demonstrate that this is real, manual work. I am a genuine creator who cares deeply about the community I have built, and even after being demonetized, I have continued making videos because I do not want to let my viewers down.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am just asking for a fair manual review from someone who can look at my actual content, watch my appeal video, and determine whether my channel truly fits the “inauthentic content” policy.
Please help me get ScalingStories reviewed by a real person.

@Callofdutymem6@DougHewsonYT@reneritchie@TeamYouTube Because I am exasperated by the worst cases of people who have no case trying to argue on social media as if they were "wronged" by being demonetized. I'm trying to shame you with your own content but the problem is you are either oblivious are intentionally being dishonest
@Callofdutymem6@DougHewsonYT@reneritchie@TeamYouTube And even then, you don't have a guarantee of being monetized because you do not seem to have an awareness of what original content is. So, even if you started over, you would still be reusing content
@Callofdutymem6@DougHewsonYT@reneritchie@TeamYouTube I think the problem is you do not understand what original content is, so you don't understand that your channel is fundamentally, deeply flawed at the core. It's not just 1 or 2 videos here or there. You would need to start over.
@Callofdutymem6 They seem to have long form videos that are different than short form & more of their traffic. But yeah, I wouldn't consider this channel "safe". (Since a channel can be demonetized at any time, you can't say "they're currently monetized" & assume they are safe)
