Seize the summer with garden exploration at the Museum! ☀️ Join Museum staff and a @GCGrowers Educator for Garden Exploration Saturdays and Thursdays. Check our calendar for the latest timing: https://t.co/AFfrkpP9F2
(2/3) Next spring, visitors will be able to explore the garden—the soil, leaves, veggies, fruits, herbs, and more. They can connect with a farmer educator from our partners at @GCGrowers to ask questions and learn about local plants, observing how they change over seasons.
(1/3) Click through to see the construction progress of our brand-new Fenway Farms exhibit, a replica of @FenwayPark's own rooftop garden! Current crops in the garden include spinach, bok choy, garlic, and red and green leaf lettuce.
Congratulations to all of the schools that have received the 26th Annual Secretary’s Awards for Excellence in Energy and Environmental Education! We love being a part of Boston Public School's K-12 “Growing Resilience, Gardens and Grounds Program”.

Some lovely Borage flowers from a recent harvest! These brilliant blue blooms are edible and can be used fresh to garnish a salad or dessert. They are a great addition to pollinator gardens!
That’s a wrap for the 2020/2021 school year! We are so grateful for all of the classrooms we were able to join this year (both virtual and in-person). We love sharing our passion and knowledge for growing veggies with students across New England. Happy Summer!
For the last year, our workshops were attended only by our @GCGrowers farmer, Somerville City TV & a video camera... BUT on Friday June 4 at 3 PM we will host a live, in-person, socially-distanced Garden Workshop!

Here's a little behind the scenes from last Friday when Rodrigo, Sam, and Andrew were hard at work turning an underutilized section of @FancypantsBaker parking lot into an employee produce garden! Their cookies are made sustainably, health-conscious, and tasty. Check them out!
Barely a week has gone by since our last #LibraryGarden garlic update & it is really growing!🧄
In 2 weeks we'll do our first planting with @GCGrowers! Have questions for our farmer? Submit them here: https://t.co/kDN0jn4dn1 & get answers during our workshop Q&A!
