There's a war on women, being waged by transactivists, many of them men who think they're women (or say they do). Pronouns: I/me/mine.

@WasAcop@skankpillow It’s the same in Australia, a couple of years ago I was looking for work and could barely get an interview, white male 48 exemplary work history, so I started ticking the indigenous box and landed 8 out of 10 applications for an interview.
@WasAcop@vicsinghb Been going on for decades - some male colleagues ticked the “bisexual” box when the new forms appeared at work “as backup insurance in case they ever try to sack me” then in response to my raised eyebrows, “come on, though, like how are they ever gonna check?!”
@WasAcop I should be OK then, my union branch joint chair told me I was black and could attend the BAME network group. I'm white Scots, but because we're "oppressed" I count as black seemingly☺️
Diversity is so powerful in the police right now that a straight colleague of mine had to declare himself bisexual just to get an interview for the firearms unit.
They even stated they preferred Officers from protected characteristics on the advertisement.
Applied twice.
Same documents, same experience, same everything.
Turned down both times.
Third time he changed just one tick on the form — from straight to bisexual.
Suddenly… invited for interview.
They were openly prioritising “protected characteristics” over experience and competence.
This isn’t inclusion.
This is institutional insanity.

Yes…
Because nothing screams “I’m non-binary!”, like accepting a “Power of Women” award…
Make it make sense…
“Would xir like some pudding with xem’s desert?”

1. Women’s spaces are for women. It’s irrelevant how the women look.
2. Men don’t belong in women’s spaces. It’s irrelevant how the men look.
3. Most trans-identified men would give at least one ball to look like Sharron Davies.
Very sad.
Such a gentleman, kind & naturally very funny. We only worked together once, but he was a giggler on & off-set & I just adored him.
Too soon, far too soon.
RIP Anthony Head.
It wasn't easy putting myself out there.
Some people were cruel. Not about my art — about me.
But I refused to stop creating.
Every order I receive feels like a reminder that kindness still exists.
Thank you for seeing the art, not just the artist. ❤️
This is a perfect, unarguable demonstration that when people object to terms like ‘birthing people’ it has NOTHING to do with concerns about erasing women (who are specified throughout) and is 100% entirely about denying the very existence of trans people.
@DR_tweetUK A reminder that there’s nothing inclusive or respectful about making life harder for people with communication difficulties, or in compelling the speech of others.

@dr_jon_l@Psychgirl211@KnownHeretic@benryanwriter Hi Jon - basic human decency dictates that no-one expects other people to lie for them.
Insisting on personalised pronouns makes life actively harder for people with a range of disabilities & communication difficulties.
