@Sterban911@raincandyu__@KratosClaire How are you getting twice the amount of likes of what you're replying to lmao. Imagine talking about some movie or pizza being your favorite thing then going "well I've only read about it or watched a summary I've never actually seen that movie or eaten that food" it's so stupid
@TweetsRgb@haunted0clock For the movie they didn't use actual VHS camcorders for the very reason you said, it made VFX really hard. For this behind the scenes footage tho idk
@twobularbells@Twomato1@Andi_Rodd Wasn't it found, not created? I don't think there's anything saying how long it's been there and the idea of it being "everything that ever was" makes it seem to transcend time. We even see some futuristic looking sections, so I don't see why it couldn't pull from the past too
@ArrickZane@babyherc2 The first one is the cover for "Everywhere at the End of Time" album which simulates what it's like to have dementia. One song from it is in the movie
@Hex_Beee I saw the balloon and it immediately made me think of this picture you see during an eye exam. Would make sense if it's a reference to this cause it's a pretty famous "liminal space" picture for most people too
@RGoscarcampaign@PopcornNMovie Hmm I wonder why people aren't celebrating the success of a movie with a $250m budget, one of the biggest actors of our generation, and was directed by people who've had success in this industry for decades as much as these lower budget, first time filmmakers
