Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.

I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

@HashNicSuckDick @stealyoredbull I should’ve worded it better, the claim that Germans and other countries that complied were “brainwashed” during ww2 is a fairytale. It’s really shocking to learn the attitudes of everyday people compared to those of nazi soldiers and leaders. Not too far off

@stealyoredbull By the slaughter of Jews. Civilians often complied with Nazis and handed over Jewish neighbors, not just in Germany. Austria for example welcomed the Nazis with open arms, even had a parade celebration for them.

@stealyoredbull I didn’t even know this was something people thought. Actually, believe it or not, most countries were very discriminatory towards Jews around the time of the Holocaust. America wasn’t even a safe place for them to, start a business for example. Most places were unbothered
