Scott was delighted to be helping the @scotathletics athletes at their holding camp pre @birminghamcg22 commonwealth games.
Good luck to all the athletes!
@ScottishPower a company that makes an error, 4 years later without any contact destroys my credit score! I hope they don’t treat anyone else like that have treated me.
Every knee arthritis patient needs to hear...
- pain does not always imply harm
-it's ok to run/walk/weight train
-yes, PT can be helpful.
-steroids are not typically helpful and might harm u
-it's helpful to remain active
-ignore the x-ray and focus on remaining active.
-don't try stem cells
They shouldn't hear.
- you have bone on bone
-you have the knee of a 90 year old
- you should stop exercising
-rest, or you'll need a TKR
- come back every 3 months for an injection
I am going to be controversial!
Behaviour change principles around health behaviours are more important than specific exercise principles & programming for MSK problems

A great example for young athletes. How to be fiercely competitive and have a great time along the way.
Proud to have worked with Murph for 10 years through the highs and lows.
