Private sector = creates the taxable pie

Public sector = uses and redistributes the pie

Without the private sector, the government has no sustainable income source.

Public sector taxes reduce net expenditure but do not generate new value.

@N98Scully Think you mean 1,500 hours over 3 years on placements not the claimed 12,000 no one does 12,000 as thats 11hrs per day 7 days a week for 3 years - when did you do lectures or time off.
