According to the Bible, death is the separation of body and spirit (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Every person faces judgment after death (Hebrews 9:27).
For those who trust in Jesus Christ, their spirit goes to be with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8), followed by bodily resurrection to eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, John 11:25-26).
Those who reject Him face eternal separation (Matthew 25:46, Revelation 20:15).
The Bible presents this as the path to salvation through faith in Christ.
🚨 REP. WESLEY HUNT (R-TX) just gave the PERFECT response:
Q: There won't be any black Republicans left in the House?
HUNT: "It's not relevant."
"I'm not here because I'm black."
"I am here because I am a qualified representative for Congressional District 38."
"The American people choose who they want to choose."
"I don't want to get into this game of RACE BAIT all day, every day."
"If there's 4? If there's 10? If there's NONE."
"I represent a white majority district that President Trump would have won by over 20 points, and I won by over 25 points."
"I'm being judged not by the color of my skin, but the content of my character."

I was in line at the grocery store when the guy in front of me asked the cashier, “Do you guys hire?” She looked up. “Yeah, we’re always looking. Apply online.” He nodded. Paid for his ramen and left. Something about the way he asked made me follow him to the parking lot.
“Hey, you looking for work?” He turned. Surprised. “Yeah. Got laid off two months ago. Applications everywhere. Nothing yet.” I could see his car. Backseat full of stuff. Blanket. Pillow. He was living in it...
“What kind of work you do?” “Warehouse. Forklift certified. Anything really. I just need something.”
Pulled out my phone. Called my buddy who manages a distribution center. “You still hiring?” Put the guy on the phone. They talked. My buddy said, “Come in tomorrow. Ten AM. Bring your forklift cert. We’ll try you out.”
The guy hung up. Stared at me. “Did that just happen?” “Yeah. Show up on time. Work hard. It’s yours.” He grabbed my hand. Shook it hard. “I’ve applied to a hundred places...
Nobody calls back. You just… made one call. Why?”
“Because I’ve been unemployed. I know how it feels when nobody gives you a shot. Now you got one. Don’t waste it.”
Got a text two weeks later. Unknown number. “It’s the grocery store guy. Still working. Got my first paycheck. Getting a place next week. Thank you for making that call. You changed everything.”
I live in a cul-de-sac. My neighbor, Mrs. Gable, is 82. She’s grumpy. She yells if a ball rolls on her lawn. She keeps to herself. Last week, I noticed her blinds hadn't opened in two days. I went over and knocked. No answer. I tried the door. Unlocked. I found her in the kitchen. She had fallen. She was conscious, but weak. She’d been there for 24 hours. I called 911. I sat with her until they came. "I didn't want to bother anyone," she whispered. "I'm just a cranky old woman." "You're my neighbor," I said. She went to the hospital for a week. While she was gone, I mowed her lawn. My wife planted flowers in her planters. The kids made "Welcome Home" signs. When the ambulance brought her back, she saw the yard. She didn't yell about the grass. She cried. Yesterday, a ball rolled onto her lawn. She walked out, picked it up, and tossed it back to my son. "Nice arm, kid," she yelled. She’s not the grumpy neighbor anymore. She’s Alice. Check on your neighbors. Even the grumpy ones. Especially the grumpy ones.

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a humble heart.
You are the God who heals, restores, and renews.
Lord, touch my body with Your healing hand.
Remove every pain, weakness, and sickness from me.
Strengthen my blood, my organs, my nerves, and my mind.
Where there is fear, bring peace.
Where there is pain, bring comfort.
Where there is weakness, bring strength.
Jesus, You healed the sick and gave hope to the broken.
I believe You can heal me too.
Fill me with Your life, Your power, and Your peace.
Give wisdom to doctors,
give patience to my heart,
and give courage to my spirit.
I trust You, Lord.
I place my health completely in Your hands.
Let Your healing flow through me today and always.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
My daughter was sixteen. She went to a party at a friend’s house. We had an agreement: if she ever felt unsafe or uncomfortable, she’d text me the word “headache.”
At 10:30 PM, my phone buzzed: “headache”
I called immediately. Loud, angry voice: “You didn’t finish your chores before you left! You need to come home RIGHT NOW. I don’t care if your friends are upset. This is unacceptable.”
She played along perfectly. “Dad, that’s not fair! I did—”
“NOW. I’m on my way.”
I picked her up. She got in the car, and her whole body relaxed.
“Thank you,” she said quietly.
“What happened?”
“Older guys showed up. Someone brought alcohol. It just felt wrong. I wanted to leave but didn’t want everyone to think I was lame.”
“You’re not lame. You’re smart.”
She nodded. “Can you be the bad guy more often?”
“Any time you need me.”

🔥 KID ROCK: “If the NFL really were all about its stated goals and really wanted to take care of their fan base … there's a band that checks every single box from San Francisco, by the name of Metallica.”
Larry Fitzgerald used to be a ballboy for the Vikings and got to watch Randy Moss from the sideline…
Now, Moss was the one who knocked on the door to tell him he was going into the Hall of Fame.
Pretty freaking cool.
Deputy Lawson had no warning when a fugitive burst from a closet and lunged at him with a serrated knife. The blade was aimed directly at his neck — a killing strike. Lawson didn’t have time to react. But his K9 partner, Titan, did. The 85-pound German Shepherd launched himself into the attacker, taking the stab deep into his flank — a blow meant for Lawson. As backup subdued the suspect, Titan collapsed, bleeding heavily. Lawson scooped him into his arms, ignored protocol, and sped to the emergency vet with sirens wailing, keeping pressure on the wound and begging, “Don’t quit on me.”
Veterinarians worked for three hours to stop the internal bleeding. Lawson never left his side, whispering to the dog who had saved his life. When Titan finally lifted his tail, Lawson broke down in relief. He walked out knowing he owed every breath to the dog resting in recovery.
In a life-or-death moment, Titan, an 85-pound German Shepherd, took a deadly blow meant for his partner, Deputy Lawson, showing unwavering bravery.
