@SMBDealGuy Yeah the personal guarantee is the part first time buyers tend to gloss over. Worth sitting down with your own attorney on it early, before you're emotionally committed to the deal
@TruueDiscipline It's the gas station owner making the pizza. Hunt Brothers supplies the ingredients and the setup, and from what I've read there's no franchise fee. Pretty easy add for a store in a small town
Watched the Roadster reveal last night. A car driving up a vertical ramp, flipping, and landing on SpaceX thrusters.
Whatever you think of Elon, nobody else in business gets the whole internet to rewatch a product launch like that.
What's the best launch you've ever seen from any brand?
@JonMStoddard Worth asking if they elected the private company option to amortize goodwill too. If so that $600K is already net of 5 years and the original number was bigger
@sweatystartup Restaurants trip on this when they switch SMS tools. The phone numbers move over fine but the opt in records often don't, and then nobody can prove who actually signed up.
@HelenGuo_ Do the leagues have to sign off on a new owner for those licenses? With 2 to 3 year terms that's the first thing I'd ask before looking at anything else.
@SMB_Attorney Most of the owners I do books for live in that in between category lol. Payroll clears, they take a decent salary, nobody's buying a plumbing company anytime soon
@jonathanmaze So Subway operators gave up a $3,200 a store rebate and got loaned fountain equipment instead. Did Pepsi come in any lower on syrup, or was it really just the equipment?
Crisp & Green is buying 33 stores and running all of them corporate. They have 54 today.โจPaused franchise sales last year, bought back ~20 units, now restarting.โจDoes a big corporate base make you more likely to sign with a brand, or less?
