@eurofounder@Ms_Logical@AGoodVillainn You may want to google salaries in the US for engineers just as an example and compare that to German salaries. In the US they make about twice as much as in Germany. Salaries for college graduates are a lot higher in the US.
@dbru1@krassenstein Europe had 30 days vacation since I left 40 years ago. You may want to compare salaries. The wages in Europe are much lower than in the US.
@17QStorm Why can’t people who are on the Obama Care plan join their state’s insurance? The Fed just just gives some more money to the states. Group plans are always cheaper.
@ByronDonalds@POTUS Could people pay into their state’s healthcare or Medicare with a higher premium? Could trade associations negotiate better plans for their industry? I am sure there are people with ideas. We can’t just leave people without options.
@ByronDonalds@POTUS Use the nuclear option to open the government. The shutdown has been long enough and people are without food and paychecks. Then bring in the insurance CEO’s and talk to them about offering affordable plans.
@BottjenJason @SenRandPaul Norway and Denmark invest a small portion some of their country’s SSN funds in the stock market. Their Social Security is funded. Maybe we should try something similar. Some professions cannot work until 70.
@Hardworkingguy3@Chicago1Ray A mayor cannot do that on his own. He may want to check with the governor. Some of the things he wants to do, only a governor can do.
