BREAKING: Journalist and college professor Stacey Patton goes viral by penning a stunningly powerful statement about how she was on Charlie Kirk’s “digital hit list” and recounting the horror that he inflicted on her.
We cannot allow this tragic assassination to whitewash Kirk’s legacy…
“I am on Charlie Kirk’s hit list,” Patton wrote to her 215,000 followers on Facebook. “His so-called ‘Professor Watchlist,’ run under the umbrella of Turning Point USA, is nothing more than a digital hit list for academics who dare to speak truth to power. I landed there in 2024 after writing commentary that inflamed the MAGA faithful. And once my name went up, the harassment machine roared to life.”
“For weeks my inbox and voicemail were deluged. Mostly white men spat venom through the phone: ‘bitch,’ ‘c*nt,’ ‘n****r.’ They threatened all manner of violence,” she continued.
“They overwhelmed the university’s PR lines and the president’s office with calls demanding that I be fired,” Patton wrote. “The flood was so relentless that the head of campus security reached out to offer me an escort, because they feared one of these keyboard soldiers might step out of his basement and come do me harm.”
“And I am not unique,” she added.
“Kirk’s Watchlist has terrorized legions of professors across this country. Women, Black faculty, queer scholars, basically anyone who challenged white supremacy, gun culture, or Christian nationalism suddenly found themselves targets of coordinated abuse,” Patton wrote.
“Some received death threats. Some had their jobs threatened. Some left academia entirely. Kirk sent the loud message to us: speak the truth and we will unleash the mob!” she continued.
“That is the culture of violence Charlie Kirk built. He normalized violence. He curated it, monetized it, and sicced it on anyone who dared to puncture his movement’s lies,” she wrote.
“And now, in the wake of his shooting, there’s all this national outpouring of mourning, moments of silence, yellow prayer hands, and tributes painting him as a civil debater,” Patton continued. “But the truth is that Kirk and his foot soldiers spent years terrorizing educators, trying to silence us with harassment and fear!”
“And now the same violence he unleashed on others has come full circle.”
“But what i find especially jarring is the dissonance in public mourning for a smug white man whose life work was actively hostile to certain groups,” she continued. “Kirk spent years demonizing LGBTQ people, mocking gun survivors, spewing racism about Black folks, and pushing policies that literally shorten lives.”
“It is so revolting to watch a bipartisan wave of grief sweep over this hateful racist as if he was a neutral community servant,” she concluded.
This is pure unvarnished truth from Patton. Charlie Kirk did not deserve what happened to him, but nor did his victims deserve the hell that he unleashed on them. If Americans are going to build a more peaceful future for ourselves we must condemn political violence while also condemning the hateful, bigoted rhetoric that made Kirk a multimillionaire.
Please retweet and ❤️ if Patton’s message struck a chord with you!
This is a shift for Mace, who in 2021 (before her district was redrawn to include more Republicans) supported a conservative Equality Act alternative.
“I strongly support LGBTQ rights and equality,” she said then.

Two undersea internet cables in the Baltic Sea have been disrupted by sabotage – German Defense Minister Pistorius.
"A very clear sign that something is going on there. No one believes that these cables were accidentally damaged. And I don't want to believe in the versions that anchors are to blame. So we have to conclude, without knowing who did that, that this is a hybrid action. And we also have to assume, without knowing, of course, that this is sabotage," the German minister said.
McGovern: What the hell is going on here? And their cabinet picks so far? These are like beyond insane. Someone who paid hush money to cover up a sexual assault accusation, you know, to lead our military? Someone who says that tap water turns kids gay.
The Russian-backed rapist, fraudster, traitor and 34 times felon is who going to lead our country has nominated rapists, traitors, heroin dealers and extremists to join him.
Deadly accurate analysis here from @SpanbergerForVA regarding how alarming and unfit @TulsiGabbard is for DNI - a position held by the esteemed former Senator/ Ambassador Dan Coats in the last Trump Administration
Lutnick told CNN that Kennedy wasn't going to lead HHS and that anyone connected to Project 2025 was "radioactive." Worth revisiting that as more appointments (especially lower-level ones) are made - always sounded like non-enforceable campaign rhetoric.

Over 10% of employees in agriculture and construction are undocumented immigrants. That doesn’t bode well for home and food prices under Trump’s deportation plans.

Every single Democratic elected official in the country should be talking like this and creating events to talk like this every single day for the next four years.
Our electeds do not just govern and legislate, they also communicate and we need much more of this, every day.
Americans have no idea how difficult legal immigration is for "high-skilled immigrants".

The VP-elect tweeted, then deleted, a message calling Steve Bannon's producer @gc22gc a "mouth-breathing idiot."
Simultaneously grotestque behavior for an incoming VP and the first battle of the delicious infighting to come.
When Trump fired James Comey in 2017, it was a nearly impeachment-level scandal because it was (rightly) regarded as an egregious abuse of power. Now he's going to fire Comey's successor, again for no legitimate reason, but no one cares because Trump has normalized abusing power
Fun fact: Dr Oz's family business received the largest ICE fine in U.S. history for engaging in a scheme to hire undocumented immigrants.
He's now getting a job in the administration that wants to carry out the largest deportation in history.
Wow. Sources say Trump transition officials are starting to think of new candidates to replace @PeteHegseth for Defense Secretary after he failed to disclose he paid a woman to settle a rape allegation (he denies it)

Clark: What are they talking about on day one is where one member out of 435 is going to use the bathroom. That is their focus. So this is not a great start for how we start to turn the focus to the American people.
