Despite no 1st-round pick in 2027, the Colts GM opening is shaping up to be fairly enticing:
- Tons of cap space
- Currently 10 2027 draft picks
- A patient owner
- Quite a few young, ascending players
Pretty much a blank slate to rebuild the team in their image.
Fans don’t get to yell “FIRE SALE!” and then complain about the returns.
Colts are trading from a position of weakness, with a deadline approaching. You accrue as many assets as you can, and prepare for a rebuild.
“So you canceled your biggest rivalry to support your coach making the playoff”
USC: “That’s right Dave”
“And even without that guaranteed loss you guys still can’t make it”
USC: “That’s correct, Dave”
So If Carlie is going to consider a total rebuild with the @Colts maybe she should think about making HC Shane Steichen available for trade as well. Any and all options should be put on the table. #Colts#NFLtradedeadline
The #Colts rebuild won’t take as long as you think. I give it two years. Colts having a fire sale can add a lot of picks and talent quickly. Then you can have over $100 million for FA. The right mentality and GM/Coaching staff will do wonders. #ColtsNation#ForTheShoe#NFL
Remember when iPhones first came out and apps were just like...fake zippo lighters and like fake beer drinking apps and stuff. God what a moment in history
Use that PTO. Go to vacation. Call in. Take that sick leave. Look out for yourself, take care of your mind and body. These corporates do not care about you.
The #Colts are one of the worst tackling teams in the NFL. Their ineptness was on full display yet again after that 50-yard TD run by #Steelers RB Jaylen Warren.
